What better way to warm up on chilly days than with a flavor-packed bowl of tomato soup. There are many health benefits to eating tomato soup one of which is weight loss. Rich in water and fiber it will make you feel full for a longer duration.

Recipe: Tomato Soup

INGREDIENTS:
In a 2 quart pot:
3 Tablespoons olive oil
1 can green diced tomatoes in juice
1 can V8 (regular or reduced sodium)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder

4 – 5 Tablespoons honey
1 Tablespoon fresh fennel
Cook 15-20 minutes stirring until color changes slightly (bubbles darken around edges)
