Recipe: Flapjacks
INGREDIENTS:
In a blender or vita-mix, grind:
4 Tablespoons sunflower seed
1 Tablespoons flax seeds
5 Tablespoons oats
Place the above ingredients in a bowl and add:
3-4 cups whole wheat flour
3 Tablespoons multigrain flour
3 Tablespoons oat bran
2 Tablespoons baking powder
dash of salt
5 cups vanilla milk
3 Tablespoons oil
Keeping the skillet at medium to medium low heat, ladle about 1/4 cup of the
batter onto the skillet, to make a flapjack. Cook, until bubbles break the
surface of the flapjack, and the undersides are golden brown, about 2 minutes.
Flip with a spatula and cook about 1 minute more on the second side.
